Engineering notation is a version of scientific notation in which the exponent of ten must be divisible by three (i.e., they are powers of a thousand, but written as, for example, 106instead of 10002).
I never understood scientific notation in grade 9 and we did not really use it in grade 10, but when I was doing engineering notation I understood both them, scientific and engineering notation, coming to think of it kind of liked it, it was really easy when I understood it, it really made sense when I was solving problems and equations. I did really well in the quiz too, I think I understood it really well.
